How did it go?

After class, classmates usually ask each other Como foi?:

Como foi a prova?	How was the test?
Foi fácil.	It was easy.
Foi difícil.	It was difficult.
Fui bem.	I did well.
Fui mal.	I did badly.

Fui is the past of ir, and here it means how you did: Fui bem na prova de história.I did well on the history test.

Pay attention! In Brazil, grades usually go from 0 to 10. The minimum to pass changes from one university to another, but it is often between 5 and 7.
