What friends do together
With a gente, use the same verb form as ele and ela:

How often you meet
Add the words from the lesson on frequency. To say every Saturday, use todo sábado:
- A gente joga futebol todo sábado.
- Às vezes, a gente cozinha junto.
- Uma vez por semana, a gente toma uma cerveja.
Talking about your friends
- O João é o meu melhor amigo.
- A Bia é a minha melhor amiga.
- Meus amigos moram em Recife.
All together
- O que vocês fazem no fim de semana?
- No sábado, a gente joga futebol.
- Que legal! E no domingo?
- No domingo, a gente cozinha e conversa muito.
Pay attention! In Brazil, a casual game of soccer with friends has its own name: a pelada. It can happen on a field, on a street or on the beach, and nobody keeps it too serious.
