When you're just starting out with Brazilian Portuguese, having a solid foundation of everyday phrases is crucial. These expressions will help you navigate basic social situations, make a good impression, and show respect for the local culture.
The most basic greeting you'll need. "Olá" is slightly more formal, while "Oi" is casual and friendly. You'll hear "Oi" constantly in Brazil!
